“Patients rarely receive focused one-on-one care. That’s why our team of therapists at Praxis gives our patients undivided attention and spends time teaching them about their bodies and how best to cope with various conditions. Our years of clinical experience, use of Pilates training in conjunction with physical therapy and today’s most advanced manual techniques have objectively proven to relieve pain and help people heal from injury or surgery more quickly. Through the years as a physical therapist, I perfected many procedures to incorporate movements that speed up recovery. As the Director of Physical Therapy, I am able to share this knowledge with all the therapists at Praxis. We love giving first-rate medical care, and our patients tell us that it shows.”

“I love sports, taking care of injuries and helping people get better. The human body and how it works is fascinating to me. I really enjoy thinking about the problems patients face and figuring out how to solve them. Having been a physical therapy patient myself at one point in my life allows me to be empathetic and be very compassionate. My dedication to restore my patients’ function in order to improve their quality of life grows deeper with experience. I find challenge in complicated cases such as multiple diagnoses and severe spine pathology. I love what I do, so it allows me to enjoy my work and perform at my optimum. For me, every patient is a priority.”

“I enjoy the rehabilitation aspect of helping patients improve from their injuries, surgeries and/or disability. When working with patients who have sustained long-lasting injuries, who believe that they will see no improvement, I try my best to encourage them to weigh out their negative thoughts and reinforce their recovery with positive ones. Changing their attitude to be more positive helps them cope with their injuries/disabilities more easily and makes their rehabilitation more rewarding to them. I am very easy to communicate with. You will hear my patients laugh a lot. I give my best and find it gratifying to know that I am helping someone in need.”

“Working under the United States Navy, I had an opportunity to transition from Nursing to Physical Therapy. The enjoyment in teaching people how to exercise and take better care of themselves made my choice permanent. I like the challenge of working with different diagnoses (such as sprains, gait abnormalities and postsurgical conditions) and seeing progress with patients who genuinely want to attain the goals set by themselves and their therapist. To the people I treat, I wish to give long-lasting, educated wellness for life. I want them to know that someone cares about their recovery.”
